Dell Rapids Haven provides out of school time care to students in grades K-6. Last year they served a daily average of 41 students before school, 39 students after school, and 46 students during the summer. According to a parent survey, students are: increasing self-confidence, learning life skills, and learning healthier eating habits (per survey).
KIDSTOP provides a free after school and summer recreation program for students in grades K-8. Last year an average of 23 children attended daily. 80% of participants make progress on Power of Asset chart, which leads to academic success.
Here4Youth provides out of school time care for youth with special needs and their siblings. Last year, they served 69 youth during out of school time, 71 youth in summer care, and 45 youth for weekend or respite care.
Sioux Falls Family YMCA’s Middle School After School program provided a variety of activities to 823 students at five middle schools last year.
