Partner Agency Funding
Applications for Sioux Empire United Way partner agency funding are now available. To qualify agencies need to be a non-profit entity with their 501(c)(3) status, provide programming within Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha and Turner Counties, been in existence for at least two years, and have programs with an operational funding deficit. The deadline for the applications for 2010 funding has passed. Community Impact Grants
Community Impact Grants are open to all IRS designated 501 (c) 3, non-profit agencies located within the Sioux Empire. Grant funds are available for proposals that serve a need in one of the following impact areas: After-School, Basic Needs, Child Care, Counseling, Disabilities, Diversity, Emergency Services, Health & Healing, Seniors, Success By 6, Youth Development, Youth Outreach.
Each grant is reviewed in a competitive pool of applications and funding is determined by community volunteers. Funding is directed to projects that can substantiate need through documented research.
