Local Parenting Information
A local insert is included in the mail with the monthly parenting guides. The inserts include current information on local parenting classes, workshops, activities, and resources. To view current and past issues of the inserts, please click here.
Temperament Project
Just as every child has individual physical features – voice, smile, hair and fingerprint – each has a different temperament. Temperament is a child’s style of behavior; how she or he responds to people, objects, and events in one’s world. Understanding your child’s temperament helps reduce parenting stress and provides insight to effective discipline practices for your child. Through partnerships with the local hospitals, parents are able to receive a temparment profile of their child. For more information contact Avera McKennan at 322-3662 or Sanford Health at 333-0698.
