Monday, September 18
Brew The Good! We invite SEUW community supporters to visit a Sioux Empire (Sioux Falls, Brandon, Tea) Scooter's Coffee to receive a free coffee on us! Thanks to our event sponsor First PREMIER Bank/Bankcard and Scooter's Coffee for helping make this possible.
Free drink will be limited to one (1) drink per transaction. Includes drink of any type/size. Promotion will begin at 6 a.m. and end when allocated funds at that location are gone. We encourage you to share your Scooters experience on your social media accounts and tag Sioux Empire United Way.
Can't make our coffee date? You can still celebrate the first day of Kickoff Week by stopping by The Barrel House to support SEUW. On Monday, September 18, The Barrell House will be donating 10% of all profits to SEUW. Stop by and grab a bite to help support SEUW!
Also starting on Monday, September 18 is a roundup at the register promotion with Nyberg's Ace. Visit any Nyberg's Ace location and be sure to round up your purchase to benefit SEUW. This promotion will run through October 1.
Tuesday, September 19
Sioux Empire United Way Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers will be in the community visiting our partner agencies while delivering donuts from Flyboy Donuts. Thanks to Flyboy Donuts for helping make this possible.
Flyboy Donuts will be selling a custom SEUW dozen and coffee blend with a percentage of proceeds benefitting SEUW.
Wednesday, September 20
Join us for an exclusive bus tour of three partner agencies.
In addition to our regular tour schedule, we have added a bus tour to bring together volunteers, donors and community members in touring three agencies serving children, vulnerable adults, and people in crisis: Active Generations, Furniture Mission, and Boys & Girls Club of the Sioux Empire.
Thursday, September 21
SEUW is partnering with Severance Brewing Company to launch another exclusive beer this year, SEUW Brew. SEUW Brew (pronounced Sioux Brew) is an American Cream Ale. Come out to the launch party at Severance Brewing from 4-7 pm and try this delicious and exclusive beer. The first 50 attendees will receive a commemorative SEUW Brew glass. Severance will be donating $1 of every beer sold during the launch party to SEUW. You can also support SEUW the entire month in their taproom by rounding up your tab. The SEUW Brew will be sold in select stores throughout the Sioux Empire with $1 of each four-pack sold benefiting SEUW. Cheers!

Come enjoy a FREE lunch as SEUW serves the community. Thank you to our event sponsor, First Interstate Bank for making this community meal possible. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. (or until supplies run out) outdoors in the Paladino Hohm Sculpture Garden, located on the north side of the Washington Pavilion. All are welcome, we hope to see you there!
Saturday, September 23
We invite you to help support our youth programs through a community gear drive. SEUW in partnership with Scheels will be collecting items to donate to our youth-focused agencies to support their program needs. Below is a list of youth gear and activity items needed. Donations can be brought to Scheels on Saturday, September 23, where SEUW will be set up for a fun Saturday with Scheels.
Needed Items: Board games, playground/sports balls, outdoor activities, hula hoops, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, toys (youth-school age), legos, fidget toys, colored duct tape, books, puzzles, cars, outside toys, and arts & craft supplies. All donations must be NEW. We CANNOT ACCEPT items like clothing, snacks, diapers, etc...
