Alexis de Tocqueville Society
The Alexis de Tocqueville Society recognizes individuals and families whose generosity helps create meaningful change and build a stronger, healthier Sioux Empire.
About Alexis de Tocqueville Society (ADT)
Individuals and families who make an annual gift of $10,000 or more to Sioux Empire United Way are recognized as members of the Alexis de Tocqueville (ADT) Society. These community leaders demonstrate a deep commitment to creating lasting change and investing in solutions that strengthen the Sioux Empire.
Named in honor of French historian and author Alexis de Tocqueville, the society reflects the belief that communities are strongest when people come together to support one another.
Step Up to the Alexis de Tocqueville Society
The Step Up Program provides a pathway to Alexis de Tocqueville Society membership by allowing donors to gradually increase their annual gift over four years until reaching the $10,000 leadership giving level.
This program makes it easier to grow your impact over time while joining a community of donors committed to creating lasting change across the Sioux Empire.
2025 Fall ADT Reception Event
“When an American asks for the cooperation of his fellow citizens, it is seldom refused; and I have often seen it afforded spontaneously and with great good will.”
