Katie Popowski

Katie Popowski grew up in Rapid City, SD. She earned her degree in Economics from South Dakota State University. 

Katie leads the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote the mission of Sioux Empire United Way, partner nonprofits, and community programs. She also oversees ePledge and online giving efforts for workplace campaigns, helping create a seamless giving experience for donors and campaign partners.

She keeps busy with her husband Dan and their three kids — Ben, Ellis, and Jack. In her free time, Katie enjoys staying active through running, spending time outdoors with family and friends, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, and relaxing with a good true crime documentary.
