Child Care & Family Literacy Center - provides quality child care and early childhood education programs for young children, ages 4 weeks to 10 years old.
Kidz Count - free after-school program for low-income children in grades K-5.
LifeMarks - an outpatient counseling program, addressing the co-occurring (mental health and chemical dependency) concerns of youth, adults, and families.
Little Blessings Learning Center - brand new center which provides affordable, quality childcare and parenting support.
Look Up & Hope - uses a comprehensive wraparound approach to improve the lives of families impacted by maternal incarceration.
Outreach Services - connecting with transition age and homeless youth, the street outreach team helps to find resources for youth who are living on the streets, couch surfing, or on the verge of homelessness in the Sioux Falls area.
Summit Heights - affordable housing and on-site supportive services that can include: support in chemical dependency recovery, re-entry services for formerly incarcerated individuals, family strengthening, life skills education, and more.
Veterans Services Center - a comprehensive resource for local veterans that includes a daytime shelter and case management, assistance with obtaining identification documents, and community referrals.
Youth Center - free drop-in center, located at 1309 W 51st Street, with free transportation from the downtown library offered. The Volunteers of America, Dakotas Youth Center provides education and creative opportunities in a safe, supportive environment as well as recreational activities and non-competitive sports. Daily snacks and meals are also provided, as well as education and strategies to help youth make good decisions for their lives. Each member is offered free transportation to their home when the Youth Center closes each day.
