2022 Campaign Goal Set

Sioux Empire United Way celebrated the start of the 2022 Campaign on Thursday, September 16 with an outdoor concert at Levitt at the Falls. The 2022 Campaign Goal is $10,050,622.

Volunteer Campaign Chair, Brian Bird, noted, “This year’s campaign goal supports 85 programs at 40 local agencies and enables Sioux Empire United Way to continue to respond to long-term community needs and also addresses emerging and increasing needs like mental health care and early childhood education.”

Sioux Empire United Way’s annual fundraising campaign is supported by 700 local businesses and more than 24,000 givers. The Kickoff Celebration recognized United Way corporate gift supporters and funded agency staff and volunteers. Dueling Duo provided a high-energy show and food and beverage were provided by Severance Brewing, Rudy's Tex-Mex Catering, and Lunch Box.

“Last year’s successful campaign was made possible through the strong dedication of our community supporters,” said Bird. “Campaign activities evolved based on companies’ pandemic response. The United Way campaign continues to be an outstanding example of our community’s desire to help our neighbors in need.”
