Volunteer United Steering Committee & Subcommittee Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in being involved in the governance of Volunteer United. Current Steering Committee positions are listed below along with role definition and steering committee expectations:

VU Steering Committee

Open Steering Committee Positions:

• Marketing Co-Chair:
  • Responsible for communicating with all Steering Committee members and SEUW staff liaison to VU to coordinate marketing and communication activity, event promotions, and volunteer recruitment communication as well as support volunteer engagement initiatives. The Marketing Co-Chairs partner with the Volunteer Engagement Chair to aid in the development of outreach materials.  

Requirements for Steering Committee Members:

• Be involved as a volunteer within Volunteer United or other SEUW volunteer opportunities prior to joining the Volunteer United Steering Committee.
• Have an interest in Sioux Empire United Way agencies and their service needs, as well as networking and spreading the word of Volunteer United. 
• Must be available to attend monthly Steering Committee meetings and respond to updates and emails in a timely manner.
• Attend a majority of the Volunteer United activities and events.

Subcommittees
